Droopy Upper Eyelids
Heavy upper eyelids can be result from multiple factors. Most commonly, cosmetic concerns arise from fullness and hooding of the upper eyelid soft tissues - skin and fat. This can be repaired with blepharoplasty surgery, commonly referred to as an eyelid lift.
A separate diagnosis of blepharoptosis, or ptosis, can be made when the upper eyelid edge, or lash line, crosses the colored part of the eye too low.
